From Kerala to West Bengal to Puducherry, three chief ministers came out strongly today against the centre's new restrictions on sale of cattle for slaughter which includes buffaloes and camels. Kerala's chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan said the state will not follow diktats on what to eat. The day was also marked by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee calling it is unconstitutional, beef eating fests in several places and in Bengaluru clashes between those for and against the ban.
