New Delhi Railway Station Stampede: Railway Stations In UP Step Up Security Protocols
Stringent protocols are being enforced at several railway stations in Uttar Pradesh following the stampede at New Delhi Railway Station on Saturday night, which claimed 18 lives. Massive crowds heading to the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj continue to arrive at these railway stations, including Varanasi, Ayodhya, Kanpur, Lucknow, and Mirzapur. In Ayodhya, passengers said they did not face any problems despite the rush.
