"New Education Policy Will Make Students Global Citizens": PM
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said the new National Education Policy or NEP will make India more competitive in the world stage. "Education has a key role in the making of Aatma Nirbhar (self-reliant), modern, new and prosperous India. So we have brought the new education policy after three decades that has been welcomed throughout the country, which instils new confidence. It will help our children become global citizens," PM Modi said in his Independence Day speech at the Red Fort.
