First the Food Bill, and now, Rahul Gandhi's pet project, the controversial new Land Rehabilitation Bill. Seen to be another populist measure, industry says it will make land acquisition for projects a nightmare, causing delays and increasing costs. On the other hand, activists say it doesn't go far enough to compensate people who are displaced. Is populism going to destroy India's economy?
