New Minorities Minister Takes Charge, Stirs Trouble
Najma Heptulla, the new Minority Affairs Minister has sparked off a storm saying it would not be right to call Muslims a minority. The Deoband has asked the BJP to clarify whether this is the party's stand or the minister's personal view. Najma Heptulla has also come in for some severe criticism on social media - a medium the PM told his ministers they must use to maximise public interaction.
