New proof confirms MPs rent scam
A letter from a Mumbai housing society reveals that it was aware of politicians illegally renting and selling flats provided to them on subsidised land. The revelations come just days after NDTV reported about MLAs and MPs raking in crores of rupees from the flats they got from the government. The letter said: "It has come to our notice that some members have been renting out their flats without the permission of the society and the collector".
