New Railways Minister on controversy over safety

Dinesh Trivedi has been named Union Minister for Railways. Speaking to NDTV's Sandeep Phukan today, he refuted charges of "absenteeism" against his party leader, Mamata Banerjee, when she was the Railways Minister. He also defended Mukul Roy, who was Minister of State for Railways till this morning but controversially refused to travel to Guwahati where a major train accident took place on Saturday.
