New urea investment policy in advanced stages of discussion: Fertilizer secy

Ajay Bhattacharya, Fertilizer Secretary said that the government is considering a substantial reduction on subsidy for non-urea fertilizers. He further said that the fertilizer ministry might oppose proposal to cut off supply of cheap gas to non-urea fertilizer plants presented by Oil Ministry. "New urea investment policy in advanced stages of discussion," he added.
