कुपोषण हमारे देश की बहुत बड़ी समस्याओं में से एक है. यह एक राष्ट्रीय आपातकाल है. न्यूट्रीशियन इंडिया प्रोग्राम जैसी पहल स्वस्थ भारत की ओर एक कदम है. यह मुहिम अभी महाराष्ट्र के अमरावती और नंदुरबार जिले में चलाई जा रही है. महाराष्ट्र में 5 साल से कम उम्र के बच्चों में कुपोषण की दर राष्ट्रीय औसत से डेढ़ गुना है.
