Anti-Cheating Bill: Will It Plug The Big India Exam Leak?

The bill to curb cheating and other unfair means in various public examinations was passed in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. The Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Bill, 2024 mentions the kind of unfair means in examinations that are punishable by law once enacted, and the punishment for the offences. Once it is framed into a law,  leaking an exam paper will invite a jail term and a hefty fine of up to Rs 1 crore. It's a big step but is this the ultimate solution to paper leaks?
