Placements Not Hit Due To Tech Layoffs: IIT-Madras
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has denied reports of a slump in placements following layoffs by tech companies. It also said it is pushing its students to come up with start-ups and turn employers. Speaking to NDTV's Sam Daniel, IIT-M Director Prof V Kamakoti also spoke about the measures taken to address the incidents of student suicides on the campus.
