NGOs Like Swades Should Be Really Encouraged, Says Anu Aga
Former Chairperson, Teach For India & Former Chairperson, Thermax Ltd, Anu Aga, at the #SwadesBuildingLivelihoods telethon said that NGOs like Swades should be really encouraged as providing meaningful livelihood options in rural areas is a must. She said that Swades is doing that with a unique 360 approach for poverty alleviation, and they started this work way before the coronavirus pandemic. They did this by creating thousand Village Development Committees and truly empowering the community to take on change and take charge of their own lives, Ms Aga explained.
