Nitish Kumar Quits, 'Grand Alliance' Falls Apart
Nitish Kumar's divorce with Lalu Yadav is a done deal. After announcing his resignation, he said that he had listened to the voice of his conscience and that he couldn't work in the present situation. Lalu Yadav, who had ruled out his son Tejaswi's resignation as Nitish's deputy earlier in the day, alleged that there were worse charges against Nitish Kumar that he knew of and had chosen not to bring up. The BJP has made it clear that it doesn't support mid-term elections in Bihar.
