Nitish Kumar's pitch for Bihar special status: even CII backs our demand

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday made another pitch for special category status for Bihar saying that even the industry conglomerate Confederation of Indian Industry or CII endorses his demand. Attending a meeting of Bihar special advisory council in Mumbai, Mr Kumar said that many in CII have endorsed that Bihar should get assistance under special category status. At the meeting, he also sought opinion on how to improve the state's industrial policy to attract investments.
