Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has called a meeting of all MLAs and MPs of his party the Janata Dal (United) on Tuesday, a tell-tale move that indicates his anger and growing friction with alliance partner BJP may come to a head. If the alliance does break, this will not be the first time Nitish and the BJP would part ways in Bihar. In 2015, Nitish and arch rival Lalu Yadav joined hands to defeat the BJP, but that newly minted alliance crash landed in just two years.
