No cheaper loans; RBI leaves rates unchanged

The Reserve Bank of India on Monday left its repo rate and cash reserve ratio unchanged at 8.0 per cent and 4.75 per cent, respectively, disappointing industry that had been expecting a cut in either interest rates or CRR, and in some cases, both.
