"There was no condemnation of what happened to Kanhaiya Lal and the others who were attacked (after Nupur Sharma's remarks)," said political analyst Geeta Bhatt, to which Congress spokesperson Swaty Malik replied, "We did condemn that murder - and what did the murderers of Kanhaiya turn out to be? They were connected to the BJP."
