No-detention policy till Class VII: Govt
The new policy by the government to pass every child till Class VII is aimed to bring a decline in the drop out rate for girls. But it has also churned a debate on whether the quality of education is compromised. Currently, the drop out rate for girls in Delhi is about 10-15 per cent and that's the statistic the new policy hopes to fight in the government schools.
