No headway in Salman hit-and-run case
The Jessica Lall case fell apart because all the witnesses had turned hostile. In another high-profile case, the Salman Khan hit-and-run of 2002, the one and only eyewitness is on the run leaving little hope for the poor family of Nuru, who was crushed under Salman's wheels. Salman was allegedly drunk and was driving back home when he lost control. He hit the workers and ran away from the spot.
