No Link Between Retirement, Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Outgoing Bihar Top Cop Gupteshwar Pandey

Bihar Police chief Gupteshwar Pandey, who recently made headlines in connection with the case involving the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has taken voluntary retirement from service. It is believed that Mr Pandey has decided to take a plunge into politics after getting a go-ahead from Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. SK Singhal has been appointed as the new top cop of Bihar. Gupteshwar Pandey, at a press conference, said his retirement had nothing to do with the Sushant Singh Rajput case. There are no reports of Mr Pandey joining Nitish Kumar's JD(U).
