No More Politics On Tirumala, Says New Temple Body Chief
A new board has been announced for the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) that has been in the news in the recent past with the laddoo controversy. NDTV's Uma Sudhir spoke exclusively to the newly named chairperson BR Naidu, who is the owner of Telugu news channel TV5. Mr Naidu says he will allow no politics on Tirumala, relook at the tendering system for procurement, and bring back the time tag system for appointment darshan for pilgrims.
