'No One From DMK Has Read National Education Policy': Swaminathan Gurumurthy

Editor of Thuglak magazine, Swaminathan Gurumurthy, spoke exclusively to NDTV about the ongoing row between the Centre and the Tamil Nadu government regarding the imposition of the National Education Policy (NEP), which the ruling DMK views as a medium to impose Hindi. According to Mr Gurumurthy, the opposition to NEP is only coming from Tamil Nadu as the DMK has made Hindi a political weapon whereas the other southern states have accepted the policy. Mr Gurumurthy slammed the DMK and said that their anti-Hindi movement was bound to fail.
