In remarks that must be very reassuring to India, Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay has ruled out the possibility of his government permitting China to open its embassy in Thimpu. "There is no question of Chinese embassy in Bhutan, Mr Tobgay told NDTV a day after Narendra Modi concluded his first-ever foreign visit as India's new Prime Minister. There have been concerns in India over China's attempts to establish diplomatic ties with Bhutan.
