No Rights For Swachhta Soldiers?
While Swachh Bharat is irrefutably a great move, is the reality on the ground anything but swachh? On Saturday, four men died due to suffocation while cleaning a septic tank in Delhi. Two people have been arrested and charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder. But the question is who is at fault? The people who lured the workers to clean the tank, the authorities like the MCD who deal with cleaning sewers, and or is it the Delhi government run by the AAP?
