Bengaluru is boom city - in normal times. It draws construction labourers by the thousands from elsewhere in the state and from other states too. The Karnataka government says it wants to keep migrants where they are during the lockdown and is trying to meet their needs at this time of no work. NDTV visited a slum in south Bengaluru, where labourers from north Karnataka have to depend on handouts for their food. They are all at home during this lockdown with no possibility of working. And social distancing is just a distant notion. Maya Sharma reports.
