'No' to Pak diplomats, 'yes' to authors for Lit Fest
The decision of the government to not allow two Pakistani diplomats permission to attend the Jaipur literary festival is obviously a fallout of the recent tensions on the Line of Control after an Indian jawan was beheaded. But the larger question remains: The Jaipur Literature Festival is just a literary festival, one which incidentally features well known Pakistani authors. What is India really achieving by stopping two diplomats from attending?
