Officer Recounts Moments Before Button Pressed To Raze Noida Twin Towers
"Everything went according to the plan. Before the countdown, I gave okay signal, only after receiving the same from all the sub-commanders. I was with the expert team during the last minutes of the countdown. I counted down till five, after which they took over and pressed the button. Within seconds (after the demolition), we came to the site and saw that everything was okay," said Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh S, the incident commander and one of the six people present during Noida twin towers' demolition.
