Nomination Highlights India's Rise in World Sports: Nita Ambani

Nita Ambani became the first Indian woman to be nominated as a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and said that her nomination highlighted the growing importance of India in world sports. Ambani said this gives her the opportunity to nurture and develop sports in India and make the country a multi-sport nation.
