Non-iodised salt: Govt seeks to implement ban
As the ban on the sale of non-iodised salt kicks in next month, a full year after it became law, a coalition of government, salt manufacturers, consumer groups and NGOs will ensure it actually works on the ground. "It cannot be done alone by the government. We need the support of all those who can make a difference," said P K Hota, Union Health Secretary.
