Non-performing assets seen in Agriculture, SME sector: Bank of Maharashtra
Bank of Maharashtra on Tuesday reported 43 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 194.06 crore for the third quarter ended December 31. CVR Rajendran, ED, Bank of Maharashtra says that this quarter saw an improvement in asset quality without much restructuring. However, he adds that non-performing assets (NPAs) were seen in the Agricultural sector and SMEs.
