Northeast Swelters, Tripura Shuts Schools For A Week
With major parts of the country witnessed heat wave, temperatures have risen above normal in the Northeast too. Tripura capital Agartala recorded 38 degrees Celsius yesterday, about 5.1 degrees above normal, as the hot weather prompted the state to shut all government-run and grant-in-aid schools this week.
