Speaking to NDTV, Senior Trinamool leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay today said that he is not opposed to the idea of merging the remaining three phrases of the assembly election. "Hearing that there will be merging of the last 3 phases of elections, not opposed to the idea," Mr Bandyopadhyay said on Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's call for clubbing the remaining phases of elections into one day, in view of increasing covid cases in the state.
