Congress leader Shashi Tharoor ruled out contesting the Congress working committee polls. The party's plenary is at an inflection point, being held after the presidential polls, Bharat Jodo Yatra, and ahead of the 2024 national election, Mr Tharoor said. "Elections are healthy for the party, but having participated in one and lost, it is not my business to tell the leadership what to do," he said. "Now it's for others to step forward," Mr Tharoor told PTI. He said he is not considering fighting any party elections. "The majority view in the All India Congress Committee will prevail on whether the CWC election should be held," he said. (Video credit: PTI)
