When asked about the grounds of release of the 11 men convicted of murder and rape in the Bilkis Bano case, Supreme Court lawyer Ashwani Dubey said, "It is not only the state's decision. It is a committee consisting of Inspector General of Police, jail superintendent, district magistrate and an advisory committee, so those comments need to be looked into."
