The sunny beaches of Goa may be great to make the state richer but the state is all set to become poorer by Rs 500 crore. The central government claims that Goa can face a revenue loss of Rs 500 crore, if it implements its plans of cancelling the special economic zones and the land lease given to several Indian companies. Leading drug company, Cipla, has retaliated by saying the government has no legal right to do so.
