Now, NGOs too bear the brunt of recession
There's a quote which goes that real charity does not care if it's tax deductible or not. But with the economy in recession, charity of any kind seems to be hard to come by. For Nitin Thakor and his team at the NGO Atma Mumbai, it's not been easy to raise funds this year. While his regular corporate donors have not completely deserted him, donations have not been easy to come by.
