Now, Soren eyes berth in Union Cabinet
After losing the assembly by-elections, Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren is now eyeing a Cabinet berth at the Centre. Soren's Jharkand Mukti Morcha (JMM) is an ally of the UPA at the Centre. The CM had been forced to give up his Cabinet position, after being implicated in a murder case. After he was acquitted in the case, Soren managed to become the Chief Minister of Jharkhand with Congress support.
