India has end to end capabilities in nuclear power but are India's atomic reactors safe and is this decision to ramp up nuclear energy to 100 GW by 2047 doable? NDTV's Science Editor Pallava Bagla spoke exclusively to Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Vienna, Austria who feels India is on the right path to make more atomic reactors. In her budget speech Ms Nirmala Sitharaman announced that `development of at least 100 GW of nuclear energy by 2047 is essential for our energy transition efforts.
