Number Of Distress Calls Have Gone Up During The Lockdown: Imtiaz Ahmed Of HelpAge Helpline

Imtiaz Ahmed, Co-ordinator, HelpAge Helpline shared that the number of distress calls has increased 3-4 times during the COVID-19 lockdown. He said that the helpline has been receiving calls from poor elderlies who are stuck at places and want to return home or are in need of ration/medicines.
