Nursery admission: Court rejects plea
The Delhi high court has made it clear, nursery admissions will begin at age four in all schools in Delhi, whether private or government.The court today dismissed a petition by 400 private schools asking for a review of the age limit for admissions to nursery and Class one.The schools had cited the Delhi School Education Act to argue that a child should not be admitted to class one before the age of six.
