Officer, 8 Jawans Killed After Truck Skids, Falls Into River In Ladakh | Read
A Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) and eight jawans were killed after the truck they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a river in Ladakh, the army said. The accident happened in Kiyari, 150 km from Leh, at 4.45 pm, Senior Superintendent of Police in Leh PD Nitya told news agency PTI. The officer said one more jawan is undergoing treatment and his condition is said to be "critical".
