Oil reserves found in Orissa
NDTV had reported last month about a tube well near Konark in Orissa that produced methane gas. This time a similar case has been reported from Mantripara village in Kendrapara district. And Oil India, a government of India undertaking responsible for exploring oil and gas reserves said it's 100 per cent methane gas and is all set to drill a well to find out whether the reserve is large enough for commercial exploitation or not.
