App-based cab drivers at Delhi airport's Terminal 3 suddenly went on strike for an hour after a driver was allegedly assaulted by a policeman over a parking issue. Ola and Uber cab drivers gathered in huge numbers and shouted slogans. They refused to drive. While airport officials tried to pacify them, passengers coming towards the pickup point for app-based cabs were told to return to the terminal area. This led to confusion among passengers and there was a brief build-up of crowds at the terminal area, with no cabs available. The drivers dispersed after nearly an hour of negotiations with the airport officials.
