Double Olympic medallist pistol shooter Manu Bhaker said she will do her level best in striving to bring more women to the fore in sports after her historic feat at the Paris Games. "We should progress together, both men and women, but I think there should be an equal set of opportunities for everyone.
I was privileged to be treated equally with a lot of opportunities but many don't have the same opportunities but I believe society is changing rapidly and I hope more women come to play sports in the next 10-15 years and I will make sure to play a role in it definitely," Manu said after meeting Punjab's Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
