Omar Abdullah's Party MP To Protest Against J&K Reservation Policy
National Conference MP Aga Ruhullah Mehdi will hold a protest outside the home of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in Srinagar on Monday over the reservation policy. Mr Mehdi is demanding a change in reservation policy as the MP feels that the current reservation policy in Jammu and Kashmir is against the general category. According to Mr Mehdi, though the general category forms 69 per cent of the population, their share in reservation has been reduced to 30 per cent.
