Madhya Pradesh on Sunday reported its first cases of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus - eight people who had returned to Indore from abroad in the past 45 days tested positive for the strain. Of the eight, three had returned from the United States, two each from the United Kingdom and Tanzania, and one from Ghana.
