Omicron-Infected Man Returned To Gujarat From Zimbabwe
Following the discovery of the first case of Omicron in Jamnagar, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel reviewed the readiness of the health system against this new variant at a high level meeting. A man who returned from Zimbabwe has been found infected with the Omicron variant of coronavirus in Gujarat's Jamnagar. The sample of the Jamnagar resident, a 72-year-old man, was sent for genome sequencing.
