It's a Sena versus Sena battle in Mumbai on Dussehra, a battle for pride and ownership of the Shiv Sena that got split after the Eknath Shinde faction allied with the BJP to form the Maharashtra government. More than 5,000 buses, a number of small tourist vehicles and cars, and a special train have been roped in to bring supporters of the two rival factions for their respective Dussehra rallies. The faction led by Mr Shinde is holding its rally at the MMRDA ground in Bandra Kulra Complex (BKC), while the group headed by Uddhav Thackeray is organising its Dussehra event at Shivaji Park in central Mumbai.
