One Dead as Security Personnel Fire at Protesters in Narbal in Jammu and Kashmir | Read
A teenager has died after security personnel opened fire at a group of people protesting the arrest of separatist leader Masarat Alam at Narbal on outskirts of Srinagar this morning, leading to anger, tension and protests in the area. Security personnel claim they had to open fire after protesters started pelting stones. However, locals say the demonstration was largely peaceful and there was no incident of stone pelting.
