Onset Of Winter, Air Pollution Will Lead To Covid Spike: AIIMS Director
AIIMS director Randeep Guleria, in an interview to NDTV, reviews the challenges ahead in terms of Covid crisis in winters, especially with an increase in air pollution levels. He says that cold climate and an increase in PM 2.5 levels could mean that the virus could stay in the air for longer. The lack of ventilation, low wind speeds could also compound the COVID-19 crisis.
